Two well-known names from the Turkish football!
Malatyaspor were relegated the 2005-6 season when they lost the last crucial games against Gaziantep away(1-0) and Denizli (they had the same points with Malatya) managed to play 1-1 against Fenerbahce at home. That week The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has opened an investigation into possible match-fixing after reports that Denizlispor paid three players from Malatyaspor to lost a match against Gaziantepspor.
Next season Malatya did well in Turkish 2-nd league, being third (Oftas and Istanbul BB were promoted, Malatya lost the play-off game against Altay).
Antalyaspor were relegated last season. One of the reasons was they have played better away then at home. Away they were defeated only in six matches (out of 17), but at home they took only 26 points (comparing with fourth from the bottom Rizespor with 34 points at home).
They both started well this season, Antalya with four points out of two matches and Malatya with two convincing victories against Gaziantep at home (2-0) and nice performance against Mardinspor away(1-4). Seems Malatya will be unstopable this year, and on the other hand this is first year for Antalya in this league (they lost a couple of good players after relegation).
