Khimki are sinking lower; and lower; they lost in Tomsk on Saturday and left nailed to the bottom with only eight points. The worst news arrived form Vladivostok where Luch won Dynamo and moved away from bottom. Obviously the teams from Moscow suburbs are in a difficult situation, first of all because of the fact that they can't win matches at home, or exert pressure on the rivals. They still have only one win, against Krylya Sovetov. They will host three out of next four games so if they don’t improve their tally relegation will become reality. Nalchik arrive relaxed; they are still among top five and more importantly, far from the relegation battle. They are in form a peaceful second part of the season and the midtable is the maximum reach of the squad. They will continue to collect points against weaker rivals.
It is hard to predict the final outcome, though I am skeptical about Khimki’s chances to remain in the league. Still, Nalchik are also not the kind of team that can play good in series; the loss in Tomsk showed that they don't perform too well against weaker rivals. For example, they won CSKA and Zenit and lost in Grozny to Tom. The bets thing to do is to try betting on goals. Khimki must play to win and their defense is such that we don’t thin they can keep their net clean. Odds on over 2.5 goals are over 2.00 and you should go along with that bet with a smaller stake, of course.
