First official match for Dinamo this season on their Maksimir stadium against semi-profies fro Northern Ireland.
First match ended 2-0 in Dinamo's advantage after full domination in all 90 mins.Linfield were defending for the whole match with all players behind the ball and didn't created any serious scoring chance.
Dinamo will be without Mandžukić(scored first goal) and Carlos, and probably Morales. Second one didn't deserved to play in best XI after he was IMO worst player on the pitch in Belfast.
Mandžukić is unavailable for the firs round of HNL which starts on sunday and wants to try young joker Tadić, who was great in second part of last season and should be awarded by place in best XI in more matches imo.Morales is tired, he left decent impression and should be considered as good signing and big potential.Ibanez who'll replace poor Carlos is very interesting player, very offensive minded, fast, above average technique skills but lacks responsibility in defensive what is his biggest flaw. However, he might be better solution for this match cause Dinamo will most likely press Linfield's bunker most of the time and they'll need some extra players on the flanks.Young talent Badelj will replace Morales, great kid, bright future is ahead of him.
Linfield will have their striker Ferguson in disposition again.Like in the first match, they are fully aware of difference between them and Croatian Champion, and they'll try to leave best possible impression.I doubt they'll change anything in the way they play, they have much problems in these matches cause their championship is very poor, and like Dinamo, they are biggest force there, attacking football all the time.
Some reports are predicting rainy and cold evening tommorow nigh what could suit for both teams. Pitch was demolished by some kids few days ago, but it won't have any influence on the match imo, only thing is, that grass won't be so green like it should be. :) I expect motivated Dinamo tommorow, after all, this is their first match on Maksimir this season. Score from Belfast should encourage them to go for attractive and attacking football, and Linfield could lose some of their concentration from the first leg in fron of hostile fans and concede goal or two more. I don't expect them to score neither, at least i give them slim chances for that cause Dinamo improved in that department comparing to last season. My scenario is early lead by Dinamo(1.-20. min) and after that total football and demolition of away team by at least 3 goals difference.
