Tottenham will kill Wigan as Wigan can't do anything on countra-attacks and IMO Tottenham will dominate the whole game as they can do that against any team, but against a team which can't create some danger on countra, I think Spurs will be by far the better team on the pitch. Remember first game between these teams, Spurs clear have domintaed.Wigan are without defender Erik Hagen who is unavailable because of illness.
But Hagen and long-term injury victim Erik Edman apart, boss Steve Bruce has a full squad to choose from.
Tottenham full-back Pascal Chimbonda has a calf strain and is a doubt but Jamie O'Hara is back in full training after a bruised foot.
Goalkeeper Paul Robinson (ankle) is struggling while Gareth Bale (foot), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) and Ledley King (knee) are out for the season.
Wigan manager Steve Bruce [on small crowds at the JJB Stadium]:
"I'm sure the fans who come and watch us, they would love to see a bigger following inside the stadium. But it is only a small town in the middle of a number of giant clubs around us, so location-wise we're not in the best position.
"So it's up to me to try and produce a team that the people of Wigan will come out and support in force.
"But if we can get a better team and start edging towards bigger crowds, and we hope that's what we can do, then great."
Tottenham assistant manager Gus Poyet:
"It's not about quality, it's not about being good enough as a team or about the opposition, it's about being strong mentally.
"If anyone thinks it's going to be a nice game - stay in London.
"It won't be easy and they will fight to the end."
