First game between these teams ended 0-2 and Pompey have had won then deserved, Wigan in that game haven't played as expected, it seems like there is an advantage for Portsmouth against this team which are trying everytime to close the game against better teams than them, but Portsmouth are creating most of their chances from middle and put pressure on the adversar like a big are doing and in this case I can't see what can do Wigan here as they can't play on countra-attack and their only chances are from set pieces. Another thing is that Portsmouth are playing much better with Defoe in team as he has proved from his first game against Chelsea till his last game his qulaity. There was clear for ex. Tottenham-Portsmouth 2-0 his importance, as the team couldn't be so dangerous in attack. About Wigan they couldn't do nothing against Blackburn which has played in 10 players. Wigan at home are great, in defence, but on the road they are simply different.
